Determine the point of view (thesis) of Mill’s essay, “Utilitarianism”, and discuss at least five of the main reasons why he believes his thesis is correct – no personal opinions. Include the following:
1) In first paragraph, state essay to be discussed (“Utilitarianism”), it’s author (Mill), and the thesis of the essay.
2) In the body of the paper, discuss each of the five reasons in-depth. In-depth means several paragraphs or an entire page per reason.
3) In the conclusion, discuss the pros and cons of Mill’s views using info provided in the Ethics book – title I provide below. This book also has the “Utilitarianism” essay to be used for this paper. Also include in the conclusion if Mill made a good case for the acceptance of utilitarianism?
4) Double spaced, 11-point type, 1 inch margins, no bibliography, use quotes when necessary, and in text citation when necessary.
5) Please attach a free plagiarism report that is 5% or less. The report really should be 0% as the work request is not a research paper.
6) Book is titled “Ethics: Theories and Contemporary Issues” by author MacKinnon. ISBN #9781285196756
7) Please write paper on a simplistic level. I am not even close to being an Ethics major. Also, please be methodical have a good flow from idea to idea.
