Topic: Essay Ethics (electrical engineering)

Order Description
This item provides an opportunity for each student to reflect on what it means to be a morally responsible engineer in current global engineering practice. Based on the research done for the first two essays, students are expected to reflect on the special or most important ethical issues involved in a field of, (electrical engineering). and present arguments on whether it is possible to be a morally responsible engineer in his own practice. Personal experience or the experience of colleagues or friends is highly valued as examples to illustrate one’s arguments. In addition to the ethical aspects , students are also expected to take into consideration the impacts of different cultures on morally responsible engineering practice in an international setting.
The attached journal article gives some example on how Confucian values impact on software engineers’ moral decision.
