Project description
What is required of you in the qual assignment

You should produce a short report that presents the data analysis and draws such conclusions (and makes such recommendations) as the data in the nine interviews warrants.
The report should be no more than 2,000 words in length (excluding the appendices).
The appendices should include the codebook, the coded interview transcripts and example charts.

1-Develop a coding scheme
2-Develop a code-book
3-Apply the coding scheme (code the data) (look at the presentation for an example)
4-Analyze the data using Framework Charts (look at the presentation for an example)
5-Produce a report of around 2,000 words (excluding appendices) that shows your qualitative Analysis and the conclusions you have drawn.

6-You must provide an illustrative example of your charts. Choose one that best displays your understanding of the process.

7-Your report can, if you wish, focus on the themes you consider most important or interesting.

8-Your report should:
8-1Explain the methodology you used
8-2Demonstrate that you used the methodology to address the research questions
Present some findings
8-3Justify your findings using the data
8-4Show awareness of issues of epistemology (what can be learnt from this type of data)
8-5Show-off your skill in qualitative analysis
8-6Not over-interpret the data

9-Overall research question – How can we attract customers to the store more often, foster their loyalty to the store and encourage them to spend more in the store?

10-Research aim – establish customers motivations for using Kingston Department stores (KDS) and explore ways of fostering their loyalty and encouraging them to spend more

11-Particular research questions:
11-1Why customers use KDS
11-2What aspects of the store encourage / discourage use
11-3What customers would like KDS to provide/do that it does not currently
11-4What customers comments reveal about the kinds of competition KDS is facing

12-Appendices:
12-1interview codebook
12-2coded interview scripts
12-3Framework Charts
12-4example charts or other text analysis tools

Also Please read all the attached files and further assignment requirements and 3 presentations and code book and framework chart on the presentations and you should develop similar one for the assignment

What is required of you in the qual assignment
I have tried, below, to summarise what is required for the qualitative part of the module Foundations of Data Analysis & Reporting. For more detailed guidance, see the guides on StudySpace: BQ7803 qual assignment 2015 and BQ7803 assignment overview 2015.
You should produce a short report that presents the data analysis and draws such conclusions (and makes such recommendations) as the data in the nine interviews warrants.
The report should be no more than 2,000 words in length (excluding the appendices).
The appendices should include the codebook, the coded interview transcripts and example charts.
(Note: contrary to what I said in the last class, you do not need to explain the methodology you used. Apologies for any confusion.)

QUALITATIVE ANALYSIS

QUALITATIVE ANALYSIS

Order Description

https://indstate.skillport.com/skillportfe/main.action#whatshappening

1.Go to the ISU library databases.
2.Find a Qualitative article that is important to your current or future practice. Remember, qualitative articles use words–not numbers in their results and gives more meaning to what we do. THIS MUST BE QUALITATIVE=-=NOT QUANTITATIVE. HINT: May not be a bad idea to find one that gives meaning to your intervention for your EBP project–either on the culture, context of care or population. HINT#2: If you pick a Quantitative Article to critique, you will receive an AUTOMATIC ZERO. There is no excuse for not knowing the difference between qualitative and quantitative at this point. HINT #3: I will not provide any advice as to whether or not an article is qualitative or quantitative. Again, you should already know this.
3.Use tools to critically appraise the article. You can use your text critique guide or any CAT from a quality CAT website.
4.Write APA style paper, using the major headings of the critique from a CAT or your text as your paper subheadings. Provide for a discussion that is inclusive of all of the questions within each of the major sections.
5.Again, I’m looking for a discussion–not just “yes-no” responses.
6.Do not include the questions–just provide the answers to the question in discussion format so the paper flows.
7.No more than 3-4 pages long (the shorter the better)–not including title page and reference page. Getting your ideas in a logical order, not being too wordy and staying on point is key.
8.Submit in Word format to the discussion board.
9.Comment on others content and APA style.
10.Hang on to this paper, as you may want to use it for the critique assignment coming up.
