1.Thesis is clear and proposes an arguable point, and takes a stand. The thesis appears in the proper position in the introductory paragraph.
2. Outline utilizes the sentence outline structure given in the template format by the instructor. The introduction, main sections, topic sentences, connecting/transitional sentences and conclusion are all present.
3. Topics are addressed with at least three concrete details about each, information clearly relates to the main topic. Outline includes several supporting details, statistics and /or examples for each main section of the paper.
4.Outline has clearly been edited. There are little to no spelling or grammar mistakes.

Background
Approaches
Present Knowledge
Future Directions
Conclusions
