Applied Corporate Responsibility

This is a short project to help you get familiar with taking a specific topic and applying it to a specific business. I would like you to choose a company of any size anywhere in the world and respond to the following question:

What is the single greatest threat of climate change in the next five years to your selected company?

Each student may choose to respond in a short written paper of not more than 2-3 pages. Please note that this assignment is intentionally vague so please take some risks with your responses. Climate change may impact a company directly or via a supply chain risk that is not well defined. For the assignment please identify the company, general size via estimated number of employees and estimated revenue, and primary industry served. Next, please identify a single and as specific as possible way that climate change will impact this company. Currently climate change is a risk that is inconsistently applied to industry with some businesses very aware of their risk while others are still just exploring potential impacts.
