case studies are very common among students studying humanities and business. Such courses as Sociology, Geography and Marketing are well known for the many case studies that students have to carry out as part of their essays. A case study is a paper that is written with the aim of narrowing down the focus of the paper to a given area or phenomenon. You want to establish how and why the issue you are studying has impacted the people living in a given select area. Alternatively, you may also be out to check the viability of an experimental idea by trying it out on a small locality before launching it out on a bigger platform.

The case memo should include SWOT analysis, strategy alternatives, strategy recommendations, and answers to the case questions in the textbook (5 page maximum, double-spaced). Case memos must be submitted before the end of the case discussion session.
