The Purnell Model was formulated to create an understanding of the interaction that takes place within a cultural setup. The model shows various domain and how the interact with each other. Although the model depicts them as individual domains, they are interrelated and intertwined and each is affected by all others. In order to fully understand this model comprehensively, the Zulu tribe will be used. Each domain will be discussed as it relates to the Zulu tribe. Overview/Heritage Origins The Zulu tribe originated from South Africa. According to their history, the Zulu people originally came from Congo and settled in South Africa (Konstan, 2010).
