Critical thinking is one process that each of you will continue to expand upon as you continue with UOP and goes hand in hand with the concept of lifelong learning. Lifelong learning is the self-directed and self-motivated pursuit of knowledge for either personal or professional reasons. The process of critical thought begins with asking a deeper question on a thought or idea that is placed in front of you. Ethically speaking we each have a responsibility to ourselves in taking ownership of our educational and professional goals and basically we will get out of each class what we put into each class.
