To successfully assess a case, you must research more background information as well as current updated information on the company and situation. Your assessment should also evaluate what led to the ethical/legal issue, how the company reacted, what should have been done to prevent the problem, how they should prevent such situations in the future, and if the company is “on track” today.
Answer questions. How did the corporate culture of Enron contribute to its Bankruptcy? Did enrons bankers, auditors and attorneys contribute to enrons demise? if so, how?
What role did the companies chief financial officer play in creating the problems that led to enrons financial problems?
