Assignment Requirements

This assignment is about writing a report about a tour to a business (port of Cleveland). I will attach a voice memo which is the basic source of the information needed. Basically, the writer has to listen carefully to this voice memo then answer the following questions. Also, I will attach a Word file that has few links which can use as additional sources of information. Again, the writer has to answer the following questions form the voice memo first, then add extra supporting info for the links provided. Here are the questions:

1. Brief history of the Cleveland Port and how it relates to city of Cleveland’s rich business history.

2. Explain the type of services they provide to local businesses.

3. Talk about the port’s new container service to and back from Europe.

4. Do you think that local companies will benefit from this new charter service?

5. What are the three most important facts you learned from the manager about the operations taking place at the port?

6.What are some of their challenges? Explain.

7. Who are their competitors (Toledo port, Intermodal services, etc) and how do they differentiate themselves in the market place?
