However, Assessment Measurements are essential for determining the extent of the identified problem. Family assessment methods typically fall into one of three categories: Self-Report, Behavior Observation, or Structured Interviews. Furthermore, one must be considerate of whether to utilize individualized measures or standardized measures when obtaining pertinent information in regards to the family or individual.
