Paper Draft—To develop the final paper, students will turn in a 5-6 page draft. The draft will go through a guided peer review. While it does not need to be polished, in order to receive the best possible feedback the draft should articulate the majority of the ideas/claims of the final version, have the general structure of the final draft, and be proofread at least once. The draft accounts for 4% the class grade. Of that 4%, 3% is rewarded for producing at least 5 pages and 1% is rewarded for participating in the peer review process. 1/5 of the 3% will be penalized for each page less than the requirement.
