In the final assignment for this class, you are asked to select a particular moral dilemma, known to you to be a problem in businesses today, which arises
from your own experience in the business world. You are to imagine that you’ve been asked to write a position paper about this dilemma, urging the board of directors of the XYZ Corporation to solve the dilemma, and to adopt some policy or action. (Pseudonyms should be used for any real companies or people.) You will be applying the “5 Steps to Solving a Moral Dilemma” Model to your problem.
In the position paper, you are required to:

1. Explain the dilemma to the Board (step one of the five-step process).
2. Survey the options facing the company (step two).
3. Evaluate each option, and select the best one (step three).
4. Persuade the Board to adopt the recommended “best” policy or action.
