1. Write a feasibility analysis of future studies and/or a career in a field of your choice, carefully comparing various options. The field you write about should ideally be related to your present field of study.

2. Write a report in which you show how information, procedures, and techniques
from your field of study can help solve a problem experienced by people in the community. “Community” can be considered as local, national, or international. (THIS IS MY TOPIC)

3. Write a recommendation report in order to help a person decide to purchase a
major piece of equipment or make a major installation in a home, office, or business.
Choose your topic in such a way that a family member, a friend, or another person
you know will be able to benefit from your research.

Please note: Computers, computer parts, computer accessories, networks, cellphones,
and cars cannot be used as subjects. Please check with your workshop leader.

4. Write a report to your superior to suggest concrete ways to improve procedures or
working conditions at your workplace.

5. Write a recommendation report on substitutes for herbicides and pesticides for
home and garden use, especially in view of the ban in Ottawa.
REMEMBER: This is a partial list. You may pick other topics, with your
workshop leader’s approval.

14 Mar. 2 Hand in a sample page of your final report (Assignment 2) (10%)
17 Mar. 14 Hand in your Progress Report (Assignment #3) (15%)
Re-check how to cite sources, etc.
21 Mar. 30 Follow up your workshop leader’s corrections and suggestions
from the sample page.
23 Apr. 6 Revise what’s needed and consult with your workshop leader.
exam Apr.. 15 Hand in your final report at 5:30 p.m. on Fri. Apr. 15, 2016. (30%)
