Everyday Life and Technology Diary

Everyday Life and Technology Diary
Order Description
Information about annotated media diary:?
This can take many forms. You are encouraged to think of your own way of presenting the material, and of gathering the material. The diary (which might be ‘actuality’ and based on you) should be fieldwork of some form. It shouldn’t take the form of an essay but should be data, bringing together material and references to the reading. The simplest way of doing this is to think of it as the day in the life of a media/technology-using creature, but you might also want to think of doing it in other ways (a day in the life of a ‘family’ computer, for instance). The point of the exercise is to collect empirical information and to connect this to the issues that we have been addressing in the module. You should aim to investigate the rhythms of media use embedded in the everyday.

(I wish to have a female researcher as it will be more similar to my own daily life)

– For the diary, you may write it in a daily life routine as an International student (alarm, go to uni, use phone for communicating, recording life by photos and videos, reading news, late night phone activity ”music” create a own space please read session 7 Bull reading…etc)
