Instructions: Guidelines for Your Senior Design ProjectMAC 490
Deadline June 2, 2016
Senior Design Project (MAC 490) is the last important academic work that will mark the completion of your 4-year study in the Department of Communication Studies and Languages in Abu Dhabi University. This is the time for you to showcase your overall knowledge and learning outcomes acquired during the past four years of hard work.
You can start to plan your senior design project at the end of your third or the beginning of your fourth academic year. The topic of your Senior Design Project does not appear in your mind automatically overnight. You will need some time to reflect on all the courses you have taken over the past years and play with a few tentative or immature project topics until you finalize one that both you and your faculty supervisor deem feasible. By this time, you can sit down and think of more details of the project and move to the step of designing and implementing the project. During this process, you should visit your supervisor from time to time if you encounter difficulties or have questions.
