Task:
The assignment is intended to bridge the gap between theory and applied reasoning in corporate governance, business ethics, corporate responsibility and sustainability. In it, you will be expected to analyze a currently unfolding or recent case, in which corporate governance, ethics, responsibility and/or sustainability have been significant factors, positive and/or negative. You should also explore possible alternative approaches to the one taken and the outcomes that might have been realized. Whilst the assignment will necessarily involve description of the relevant dimensions of the case, it is important to ‘lead’ the analysis with the key corporate governance, ethical, responsibility and/or or sustainability issues. You should maintain a focus on these throughout, regardless of how interesting other dimensions of the case might be.
Cases that should NOT be chosen include: Tesco, Body Shop, MacDonalds, Nestle, Amazon, Royal Dutch Shell & BP.
