Although Scout Finch from To Kill a Mocking Bird by Haper Lee is young, She is very wise for her age and proclaimed as a leader.

‘Until i realized I would lose it, I never loved to read. One does not love breathing.” (p23) Scout always took reading for granted just like most people take breathing for granted. Losing the ability to read would be devestating to her.
