There will also be a Research Paper due during Week 9 valued at 250 points. This includes the Rough Draft due week 5, valued at 50 of those points. Student will select a nation from one of the areas covered in the course and will write a paper which incorporates that nation’s political, economic, topographical, and historical geography. The paper must be 6 to 8 typed pages in length in a 12 point font and double spaced, and have five independent sources (instructor lecture and textbook cannot be used). Please follow Baker’s APA format and policy. Bibliography and Cover page are not counted for length, nor do pictures, lists or any tertiary or non-related information. The student must also provide numbered pages, name and class information. The student may not use Wikipedia or similar online dictionary/encyclopedia as a source.
Papers must be turned in through the Turn-it-In on the class webpage Research Paper page as well as upload the assignment, failure or refusal to do so will result in an automatic ZERO for the paper.
