Based on the results of the Pathways activity, we would like each student to write a personal statement about your professional future in pharmacy.

Answer the following questions to help frame your personal statement. Your personal statement should be no less than 1 page in length, but no longer than 2 pages total.

The breakdown of your personal statement about your professional future in pharmacy should contain a total of 5 paragraphs. The five paragraphs should be the following:

Pharmacists should demonstrate altruism, integrity, trustworthiness, flexibility and respect in all interactions. How will the career suggestions offered by Pathways allow you to develop these characteristics?

Pharmacists as professionals should display preparation, initiative and accountability consistent with a commitment to excellence. How will you prepare for your career, explore the various pathways suggested by these results? What initiatives will you take? How will you be accountable to yourself to ensure you become a competent health care professional?

What role does punctuality, attire, appearance and attitude have in being professional?
