Social networks that emerge from multiplayer gaming are developing into new types of sustainable social interaction according to research. Long lasting relationships with other players may develop over time making multiplayer gaming a vehicle for social development. As discussed in Chapter Five, online communications is an emerging world where privacy, more choices, and possibly diminishing quality of communication are redirecting past modes of social interaction. Respond to the following questions: 1) What are the limitations to internet communications in your experience? 2) Does the internet encourage new types of social interaction? 3) If so, what are they?
