Prompt: Think through the question “who am I?” alongside Augustine. You must explore this question, who am I?, by focusing on one or two of the fundamental themes of the Confessions and applying it to your own experience. The themes you may choose from are: the human longing for rest/happiness, the nature of sin, the experience of grace, or one’s understanding of God. Finally, while Augustine is your primary source for your paper, you must use Himes’ text (especially chapters 2, 3, and 4) or Rahner’s text as a secondary source to help you.
