The remaining five percent of your grade will be determined by a 1 ½ to 2 page single spaced paper in which you will describe how you can improve your interviewing skills and how you can maximize the effectiveness of the first 90 days of your next job. You will either videotape a practice job interview with a friend or classmate or videotape yourself alone answering a series of interview questions that you might receive for your next desired job. This video recording will be used to analyze and create your interviewing self-improvement plan. For the onboarding and development portion of the paper you need to think about what you should do, who you should meet, what goals you should establish, and anything else that will make your first 90 days on your next job the most effective in meeting your objectives for early adjustment to your new job. Be sure to incorporate material and concepts from both the staffing textbook and the training textbook in writing this paper.
