Discuss how your current, past, or future engineering projects have or will contribute to social justice (or injustice) in the United States.

Personally, I am an electrical engineering student. I am now developing smart office chair that is able to monitor a person’s heart rate, posture, and BMI and will also alert the user to get up and walk around. For example, whenever a person who sits in the chair becomes inactive or with bad sitting posture for too long, the chair will “buzz” and urge the person to get up and and walk around or correct their posture. The purpose of this office chair is to deal with health problem such as obesity and body posture which can cause more serious problems like heart disease and cancer. chair that correct human’s sitting posture.
