Students will write a research paper of 4 pages, typed, double-spaced, that explores a major ethical issue, such as capital punishment. The student must present both sides of the issue and draw a conclusion by applying one or more of the ethical systems discussed in this course.

The paper must be written in the style specified by the Modern Language Association (MLA). It must include a separate Works-cited page and contain parenthetical references within the text to at least four different sources using the MLA style.
