As you recall, the criteria for drafting short proposal is found in chapter 2 of Writing Research Papers (25 – 26). Please be sure that the proposal indicates research already completed.

audience (general or specific)
voice (informer or advocate)
preliminary thesis sentence or opening hypothesis
