- A brief but thorough summary of the documentary “Trouble the Water.” Limit to 1-2 paragraphs.
• Then you will provide a brief explanation of what the sociological perspective is and how it is used to view and explain human behavior and social phenomenon.
• Then you apply the sociological perspective to specific examples from the documentary. In other words, discuss how sociologists view people’s lives and discuss events and examples from the video using the sociological perspective. Please include at least three examples of how the sociological perspective views/explains the events in the documentary.
• Then you will select ONE theory and use it to analyze and explain why, according to that theory, the events and examples from the documentary were as they were. You will provide a brief discussion of the underlying assumptions of the theory (in your own words).
• Then you will apply that theory to examples from the documentary using the theory language. Please include at least three examples of how the theory applies.
