Under what circumstances would you consider the censorship of print and non-print materials to be justified?

– You need to structure the essay much more into clear sections, eg: Intro and summary of your focus – very brief background to idea of censorship – arguments for and against censorship – discussion of your specific professional context and why censorship might be justified particularly in the current context (e.g. influence of ICTs etc) – summary and your conclusion. It is only 3,000 words so it needs to be very tightly structured.

– Make sure you are addressing the essay question and not just talking about censorship in general. This is about a particular professional context (e.g. are you focusing on school libraries?). It asks under what circumstances would YOU consider the censorship of print and non-print materials to be justified? Be very clear about what your answer to that is and what factors/ policies/ legislation etc you need to consider in that context. Also refer to literature which discusses those issues specifically.
