NOTES: MAKE SURE YOU GO THROUGH THE NOTES
Make sure you thoroughly paraphrase the concepts. Remember, just changing a few words in a sentence or even changing the order of the wording, is not paraphrasing. The reason it is important to paraphrase, is that is strengthens your writing and the level of critical analysis/thinking in your answer. I already know what the book states. I want to read your interpretation. By taking sentences or phrases verbatim, it lowers your points in the rubric.
–Make sure you incorporate your perspective. Aside from defining and providing an example for each concept, think about what the concepts mean to you. By providing your perspective, it creates a more interesting and dynamic discussion. And please know, you do not have to agree with everything presented in the book.
–Make sure it is clear which concept you are discussing. Additionally, it should be clear to the reader what the concept means before delving further into your analysis. This type of writing will help you when you write your research papers. In other words, you should always write as if the reader is not familiar with the terms.
–Don’t forget to provide an introduction that encompasses all of the central themes you will be discussing in your analysis. However, I am not looking for this: “This discussion will focus on the four denominators that are common to all organizations as well as open and closed systems.” Write an introduction just like you would for a paper. It does not have to be long, but it does have to be more sophisticated than the example I just provided.
–Don’t forget to end with a solid conclusion. You want to wrap up your answer by unifying the central themes.
–Please do not use direct quotes in the discussion posts. This is noted in the syllabus. Challenge yourself to paraphrase, as it will strengthen your writing/critical analysis.
I need an A+ in both the questions. So it should be 100% original & no plagarism.
