Writing Architecture. Following the readings, we ask you to address the following questions: 1. What is the relationship between form and function in architecture today? How are new uses, technologies, and materials changing the relationship between them? 2. What is the relationship between form and function over the lifespan of an architectural work? I.e., how does renovation, adaptive reuse, etc. affect how buildings are both designed initially and transformed later?
