• State the Rationale
• Provide the Thesis Statement / Hypothesis
• Review the Literature
• Define Key Terms
• Supply Data, Statistics & Special Evidence

Requirement Details

A. Introduction: Write a minimum of three paragraphs to establish the topic and the Issue(s) to be examined.
Paragraph 1
Write a minimum of 4 – 6 sentences to catch the reader’s attention. You may use a quote/ anecdote, but it is not a must.

Paragraph 2
Write 6 – 8 sentences stating how you became interested in this subject.

Paragraph 3
Write 2 – 3 sentences stating the purpose of your research paper. [State your thesis / hypothesis]
B. Literature Review: Write a minimum of three to five paragraphs on the review of the literature.

Paragraph 1
Write 4 -12 sentences based on 2 – 4 sources dealing with the history and background of the topic. You may write more than one paragraph if necessary. This paragraph must be based on at least two resources.

Paragraph 2
Write 8– 18 sentences taking exception to 2 – 4 sources on the topic and challenging an assumption(s) on the topic presented in 2 – 3 sources. In this part you present different research findings on your topic.

Paragraph 3
Write 4 -12 sentences based on 2 – 3 sources providing possible solutions to the problem /prediction / summary

C. Methodology: Write a minimum of three paragraphs detailing your research methodology.

Paragraph 1
Write 4-12 sentences explaining your expected sample or participants in your study. i.e how many people will participate in your study? What are their age groups? Gender distribution?…etc..

Paragraph 2
Write 4-12 sentences explaining your data collection method. What type of data collection instrument will be used? How many questions will it include? Has it previously been published? How will it be distributed or implemented?

Paragraph 3
Write 4-12 sentences detailing how you will analyze the collected data? And how you will present your findings.
Assessment:

o This assignment is 20% of the final grade.
